# Installation

The Onboarded™ package is installed via AppExchange.

## AppExchange Installation

1. **Navigate to AppExchange.** Go to [AppExchange](https://appexchange.salesforce.com) and search for "Onboarded™ in Salesforce".
2. **Click "Get It Now".** Select your production or sandbox environment and click "Get It Now".
3. **Choose Installation Options.** Select "Install for Admins Only" initially. You can grant access to other users later via permission sets.
4. **Approve Third-Party Access.** Check the box to approve access to third-party websites (required for API communication with Onboarded™).
5. **Complete Installation.** Click "Install" and wait for the installation to complete. You'll receive an email notification when done.


## Installed Components

The package includes:

- **Custom Objects (Optional):** Pre-built objects for storing Onboarded™ data. These are entirely optional — you can use your own objects instead.
- **Permission Sets:** Onboarded™ Admin for full access, Onboarded™ HR Representative for day-to-day users, Onboarded™ Encryption Access for Sync Queue payload troubleshooting.
- **Apex Classes:** Sync batch classes, schedulers, and services.
- **Lightning Components:** Setup UI and configuration interfaces.
